About the RoleWe are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers and help turn Simple's voice AI platform into production-ready agents for each business.
This is a highly technical and highly customer-facing role. You will work across pre-sales and post-sales: building custom demos for prospective customers, understanding customer workflows, deploying agents, debugging edge cases, improving performance, and turning customer feedback into product improvements.
Every customer has different call flows, systems, products, policies, and edge cases. You will be responsible for understanding those details and making sure the agent works reliably in the real world. This role is a good fit for someone who wants to code, talk to customers, move fast, and be close to the business impact of what they build.

What You'll Need- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for addressing technical challenges.
- A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills and interest in product design and prioritization.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Passion about learning and keeping up with latest AI advancements.
Nice To Have- Previous experience with prompt engineering or working with AI/LLM-based platforms.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Python, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, or AWS.
