We are currently seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE/GTM) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a Forward-Deployed AI Consultant who combines AI fluency, business acumen, and strong client engagement skills to help organizations identify, prioritize, and accelerate AI-driven transformation opportunities. This highly client-facing role serves as a trusted advisor to executives, business leaders, and technology stakeholders, helping clients envision how AI can improve workflows, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate is an AI-savvy consultant and problem solver who can uncover high-value use cases, facilitate discovery sessions, translate business needs into technical requirements, and collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to shape practical AI solutions. This individual will work closely with clients, account teams, and technology partners to drive AI opportunities from initial strategy and visioning through solution definition and implementation planning, with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients to understand business objectives, operational workflows, challenges, and opportunities for AI-driven transformation.
  • Lead discovery workshops, executive briefings, solution envisioning sessions, and AI strategy discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Identify, prioritize, and articulate high-value AI use cases that align with client goals and measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and collaborate with architects, engineers, and delivery teams to define practical AI solutions.
  • Demonstrate AI capabilities, industry use cases, and emerging technologies through presentations, workshops, prototypes, and proof-of-value engagements.
  • Support sales and account teams in developing client-specific AI strategies, solution concepts, and business value propositions that advance opportunities.
  • Assess processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, augmentation, decision support, knowledge management, and agentic AI applications.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and platform providers to showcase relevant AI capabilities and solution approaches.
  • Develop client-facing materials, use case roadmaps, presentations, and solution recommendations that effectively communicate business value and technical feasibility.
  • Advise clients on AI governance, security, regulatory, privacy, and responsible AI considerations.
  • Contribute industry insights, best practices, reusable assets, and lessons learned to strengthen the broader AI go-to-market organization.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI trends and industry-specific opportunities, particularly within healthcare, public sector, and other regulated industries.


Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution consulting, sales engineering, digital transformation, AI consulting, or other client-facing technology advisory roles.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), intelligent agents, automation technologies, or related AI solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, executive presentations, or solution advisory engagements with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements and collaborating with solution architects, engineers, or delivery teams to define and implement technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $111,172.00-$236,250.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
