Position Overview: Our growing facility produces high-quality, Engineered-to-order power distribution equipment. This position leads our Switchboard and Panelboard Assembly areas to achieve the desired safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory performance. The person will have Production Scheduling and Planning; Project Management and Customer Service; and Production Managers and Production Supervisors. This position reports to the Plant Manager.
You will make an impact by: - Driving Safety culture across the shop floor with preventive measures and engagement.
- Driving Quality through continuous improvement of processes and systems to achieve zero defects.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high levels of on-time delivery and reducing lead times.
- Controlling Cost by leading your team to continually identify and eliminate waste from the manufacturing processes applying data driven lean methodology and digital factory technology.
- Improving foundational Inventory field and production flow to meet inventory accuracy and inventory turn-over requirements.
- Monitoring important metrics and leading corrective actions to address gaps.
- Conducting team resource planning, staffing, training, communication and performance management.
- Championing an environment of collaboration and a focus on achieving results within your team and across peer groups.
- Communicating and collaborating cross-functionally to solve operational issues.
- Developing and managing departmental budgets and/or business plans for aggressive sales growth.
- Analyzing order intake, product mix and complexity to develop a plan to improve efficiency.
You will win us over by having the following: Basic Qualifications:
- bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain or business management
- 8+ years proven leadership experience in a high growth manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead and motivate salaried and hourly teams while building engagement, culture, and accountability
- Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
- Understanding of cost drivers (labor, scrap, downtime, materials), budgeting, cost-reduction projects, and resource planning for managing efficiency and headcount alignment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and production equipment (e.g., electrical, hydraulic). Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Skilled in data manipulation using Tableau, MS Excel and other tools for performance analysis

The pay range for this position is $146K - $198K annually with a target incentive of 10 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
