JOB SUMMARY

The FLEX Director, Loyalty Member Products is responsible for leading the design and execution of Elite member products, including benefits and Elite tiers, to enhance the Marriott Bonvoy member experience. This position will play a critical role in transforming the future of Marriott Bonvoy Elite member benefits and pathways by integrating and synthesizing learnings from customer research, data analytics, market research, hospitality industry knowledge and customer loyalty expertise. The role must act as a champion - driving change and coordinating a cross-functional team responsible for designing, building, launching, and assessing new member products and enhancements to the Elite program. This role must leverage exceptional leadership, analytics and project management skills to organize, influence, and drive results meeting business objectives within aligned upon budgets and timelines while working across a variety of stakeholders in the organization.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related major; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;

Preferred
  • Proven track record of success working in or with fast-paced, consumer focused organizations
  • Demonstrated success leading large scale initiatives/transformations across an enterprise and associated change management
  • Proven experience introducing and implementing cutting edge ideas; conception through final delivery
  • Proven experience articulating new concepts clearly and in a compelling way, especially well versed in PowerPoint presentations
  • Demonstrated record of strong negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills
  • Experience effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment within budgets and timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to assess stakeholder needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action
  • Hands on experience working with business partners to develop success measurement plans and KPIs
  • Specialized experience in loyalty programs


CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Member Product Strategy and Execution
  • Integrate and synthesize learnings from various sources (e.g., research, analytics, industry knowledge) to formulate recommendations around new loyalty products and features of Elite program
  • Lead end-to-end design and execution of new products / features
  • Coordinate across disciplines to build, design, test, and launch new products and features, including technology, digital, marketing, PR, etc.

Managing Marriott Bonvoy Elite Projects
  • Leads current and future-looking projects that drive engagement with Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, optimizing impact of existing program and net-new efforts
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the mission of enterprise projects related to Elite membership.
  • Champions leaders' vision for product and service delivery.
  • Makes and executes the necessary decisions to keep moving forward toward achievement of goals.
  • Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to promote completion of any projects on schedule.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems that create more excitement around Marriott Bonvoy's Elite program
  • Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new project plans
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.; able to communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise manner


Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders
  • Understands and meets the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and stakeholders to support business/initiative strategies
  • Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand.
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
