Description

Anchorage, AK | Chevrolet | GMC | Buick | Cadillac | Fleet Sales | Commercial Fleet | B2B | State bid | Alaska market | Automotive sales preferred | Veterans encouraged to apply | $50,000 - $150,000+ OTE

IS THIS YOU?
• You're a relationship-driven B2B sales professional who knows how to build commercial accounts, navigate complex purchasing processes, and earn the long-term trust of fleet clients
• You have automotive, fleet, or commercial sales experience - or a strong B2B sales background and the drive to grow into one of Alaska's most significant fleet books of business
• You're ready to learn, put in the work alongside an experienced commercial vehicle consultant, and eventually own a state bid book of business in the Alaska market

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop and manage relationships with commercial fleet clients across the Alaska market - businesses, government agencies, municipalities, and organizations that operate vehicle fleets
• Train alongside our existing commercial vehicle sales consultant - learning the Alaska fleet landscape, state bid process, and the book of business you'll eventually take ownership of
• Source, quote, and close fleet vehicle orders - working across Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac commercial platforms to match client needs with the right vehicles
• Navigate state bid processes and government purchasing requirements - building fluency in Alaska's commercial and public sector procurement environment
• Maintain and grow an active pipeline of fleet accounts - building long-term relationships that drive repeat volume across multiple procurement cycles
• Coordinate with inventory, finance, and service to ensure fleet orders are fulfilled accurately and fleet clients receive a seamless delivery experience
• Stay current on GM fleet programs, incentives, upfitting options, and commercial vehicle specifications
• Represent Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage and Swickard's hospitality standard in every client interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Automotive or fleet sales experience preferred - B2B sales, government sales, or commercial account management backgrounds also strongly considered
• State bid or government procurement experience a significant plus - familiarity with Alaska's public sector purchasing process will accelerate your development in this role
• Relationship-oriented and patient - fleet sales cycles are longer than retail and the clients who trust you will reward that trust with years of repeat business
• Self-directed and organized - managing multiple fleet accounts simultaneously requires disciplined follow-up and accurate documentation
• Clear, professional communicator - fleet clients range from small businesses to government agencies and each expects a consultant who is responsive, knowledgeable, and reliable
• Comfortable with GM fleet platforms, commercial vehicle specifications, and upfitting options - or eager to develop that knowledge quickly
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset - fleet clients are long-term partners and you treat every interaction like the relationship depends on it, because it does

WHAT WE OFFER
OTE of $50,000 - $150,000+ annually
• Structured training alongside an experienced commercial vehicle consultant - a real investment in your development before you take ownership of the book
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• 401(k) plan
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• A clear path to fleet account ownership - including the state bid book of business
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
• The backing of a multi-brand GM store with strong fleet inventory, established client relationships, and a community reputation that opens doors

This role is built for someone who wants to own something - a book of business, a set of client relationships, and a meaningful position in Alaska's commercial vehicle market. The training period is real and structured, the book of business is established, and the earning potential grows as you take ownership and build on what's already been built. GM's commercial lineup is the right tool for the Alaska market, and this store is the right platform to sell it from.

If you're a relationship-driven sales professional ready to grow into one of Anchorage's most significant fleet books of business - we'd like to meet you.
