Job Description

This position oversees and guides all company owned distribution throughout the country to ensure all their Fleet and EHS operations, which includes quality, are operating uniformly according to prescribed practices and procedures. Currently there are over 125 locations and over 300 vehicles, which support the business - and growing. The Fleet and EHS Manager, through coaching and the utilization of metrics, will assist the Head of Fleet and EHS to ensure Branch Operations Team to drive continuous improvement and improve the customer experience.

  • Store and Warehouse Operations
    • Employee Onboarding
    • Forklift Management
      • Training and Certification
      • Lease Management
      • Acquisition
    • Policy and Procedures
  • Driver and Fleet Management:
    • Element Coordination
    • DOT Compliance
    • Policies and Procedures
    • Driver Training, Audits, Compliance
    • Telematics Monitoring and Setup
    • Maintenance & Lease Management primary contact for day-to-day issues.
    • Carrier & Claims
    • Crane Operations and compliance
  • Purchasing and AP:
    • Work with OEMs for Vehicles and Forklifts for purchasing negotiations, maintenance, and strategic needs in the future.
    • Work with AP to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely effective manner.
  • Assist the Head of Fleet and EHS of Company Owned Distribution as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • A combined 5+ years' experience in store operations and logistics an emphasis in Safety and Quality in business operations is desired.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
