Job Summary

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.

This position has direct oversight of the Transportation administrative processes, procedures and systems. The Fleet Administrative Manager will be responsible for Transportation scorecards, benchmarking, fuel management systems, garage materials process, and analytics. Position will have oversight of DOT requirements, Commuter Use practices and procedures, Fleet mileage, AVLS System, and NJ DMV licensing, registration and permitting requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise 1 Transportations Supervisor and 3 clerical personnel who support the various Transportation processes i.e. vehicle acquisition including requisition creation and monitoring, payroll, SAP work management, invoice payment & support store room operations.
  • Manage and supervise Performance Measurement Analyst and Transportation Supervisor responsible for: Transportation Data Analytics, Fleet Capital Planning, Storeroom and Transportation Materials Processes, Fuel Acquisition and UST Maintenance, Storm support and staging area fueling.
  • Support Transportation Practices, Procedures and Processes and related systems i.e. SAP Work Management System, Fuel Management & Vehicle Tracking System (AVLS)
  • Manage and develop Transportation work management process and associated DOT compliance requirements including Preventative Maintenance and all licensing requirements
    Prepare recommend and monitor O&M cost plan for the Transportation organization.
  • Support Fleet Capital Plan and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Perform various Fleet data analysis as needed and complete data request related to benchmark studies including preparing/publishing monthly Transportation Scorecard
  • Review employee performance, recommend salary changes, interview/select/hire personnel, recommend promotion/transfers, administer Co/Union agreement


Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience managing administrative and analytical department, development and management of scorecard processes, work planning and financial analytics.
  • Knowledge of SAP HR, Financial, & Work Management, AVLS Fleet Management System, Advanced Excel, Power Point.
  • Must possess a valid U.S Driver's License and maintain a safe driving record
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required

Desired:
  • Incumbent should possess strong written and oral communications skills, advanced Excel capabilities, financial acumen and Power Point presentation development skills.
