Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FinTech Analyst to support the development, implementation, and optimization of financial technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, evaluate digital financial products, identify business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial services through technology. This role requires a strong understanding of financial systems, data analysis, and emerging fintech trends.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze financial data, business processes, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
- Evaluate and support digital banking, payments, lending, wealth management, or insurance technology solutions.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements for fintech products and enhancements.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis on fintech products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data analysts, compliance teams, and business stakeholders.
- Assist in testing, validating, and implementing fintech applications and platform enhancements.
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to financial industry standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare presentations, business cases, and project documentation for internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in fintech, financial services, banking, business analysis, or financial analytics.
- Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, digital payments, or financial markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, KPIs, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with digital payments, lending platforms, open banking, or embedded finance.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, KYC, AML, PCI DSS, or PSD2 (as applicable).
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Basic understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, and fintech system integrations.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CBAP, or fintech-related certifications are an advantage.
