ResponsibilitiesFinancing Specialist (SG Americas Securities, LLC, New York, NY)Contribute to financing document drafting/negotiation, including term sheets, commitment letters, credit agreements and others. Develop, maintain, and update detailed financial models including running scenarios and sensitivities. Assess lending opportunities and provide transaction support to senior team members, such as assisting with credit applications and reviewing commercial, financial, and due diligence documentation and managing credit submission logistics. Coordinate and manage the internal credit process in terms of Know Your Client ("KYC"), compliance, management of the internal financing tools to calculate the profitability, the capital consumption, the loss given default and the counterparty risk of the transaction. Provide support for marketing and origination of structured debt and financial advisory business opportunities. Maintain a knowledge of developments in the infrastructure sector as well as current transactions and identify potential marketing opportunities and assist in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and prospective clients. Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site at 245 Park Ave., New York, NY 10167 when not telecommuting. Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per year.Profile requiredMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Business Administration, Management, International Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst any occupation, job title, position performing financial modeling and credit analysis for lending and financial advisory transactions at a global financial institution. Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience performing financial calculations (including profitability, capital consumption, counterparty risk, and default loss); 3 years of professional experience utilizing Excel to build and run financial models in infrastructure financing; including conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses; 3 years of professional experience working through the credit process at a financial institution and performing financial analysis and credit analysis, and coordinating transaction-related deliverables; 3 years of professional experience analyzing financial structures and reviewing credit-related documentation, including commercial agreements, financial documentation, and due diligence materials; 3 years of professional experience preparing marketing pitches and client-facing financial materials to support origination and business development initiatives; 3 years of professional experience providing support to senior team members in reviewing and negotiating finance documentation (including term sheets, commitment letters, and credit agreements).COMPENSATION:Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
