Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Workers' Compensation is responsible for the accounting, financial forecasting, and cost allocation activities supporting the company's large-deductible and self-insured retention workers' compensation program. Reporting to the Commercial Division Controller, this role serves as the accounting organization's subject matter expert on workers' compensation, translating actual loss estimates, third-party administrator claims data, and payroll exposure into accurate financial reporting, recorded liabilities, branch-level allocations, and burden rates used in pricing and business planning.

  • Support program cash flow forecasting, premium audits, collateral reviews, and actuarial studies by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of payroll, claims, and exposure data.
  • Prepare workers' compensation schedules, disclosures, and supporting analyses for external audits, lender reporting, actuarial reviews, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Partner with Risk Management, Human Resources, Payroll, Operations, and third-party administrators to validate data integrity, resolve allocation issues, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and improve the timeliness and accuracy of workers' compensation reporting.
