SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support.SDG is hiring now for a Financial Analyst at the Washington Navy Yard.
Responsibilities
The Acquisition & Financial Analyst will assist the Reentry Branch of Strategic Systems Programs as a resident contractor with budget execution, budget planning, contracting strategies, acquisition planning, and other program office support. Candidates need the ability to work as part of a team and prioritize their own project load. Candidates are expected to sit on-site at the Washington Navy Yard and must be comfortable working in a rapidly growing, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work full-time at Washington Navy Yard.
- U.S. Citizen with DoD Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance while employed with SPA.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or another equivalent field.
- 0-2 years professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Navy Enterprise Resource Program (ERP).
- Experience with Government Contracts
- Experience with Navy and DoD Acquisitions
- Experience with Strategic Systems Programs
