Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team working in Washington D.C. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support Navy with day-to-day operational finance and accounting practices in accordance with Navy and national policy
  • Support department internal controls. Define control deficiencies, document findings, and communicate issues to leads with clear recommendations for remediation. Ensure quality assurance standards and internal controls within the financial management department and the broader organization.
  • Prepare monthly and annual verification and validation reports to ensure compliance and accountability of financial administrative and management practices
  • Collaborate with management, auditors, and team members providing necessary documentation to support audit activities.
  • Monitor system access levels and prepare internal control reports.
  • Serve as fraud detection through review of system access data for unauthorized access and report discrepancies.
  • Engineer business processes and procedures in accordance with policy for financial management practices and systems.
  • Travel up to 25%


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Business Engineering
  • 5+ years of business finance and/or accounting experience
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Experience analyzing costs to identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies
  • Experience working with financial systems
  • Experience creating financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to create and present financial and accounting content and process to Navy leadership
  • Previous experience with internal control analysis and audits along with associated business process practices and methodologies
  • Prior internal control framework (e.g. federal government Green Book and COSO practices) experience
  • Experience with compliance assurance and fraud detection


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • The employee in this role will be required to pass unannounced counterintelligence polygraphs.


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
