Full Job Description
Summary

Performs basic-to-complex financial and business-related analyses to support departmental operating budgets and financial operations, provider productivity and benchmarking processes, business plans, forecasting models, and practice leadership. Ad hoc financial duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs financial analysis, analyzes P&L statements, and prepares accurate and timely reporting to enable decision-making by practice leadership


  • Provides financial support in the business development and assessment of potential new business opportunities


  • Identifies potential opportunities for improvement to internal financial/business processes


  • Assists management with analysis and implementation of financial/business process improvements


  • Support financial analysis for Provider Workforce Planning


  • Assists in the maintenance of the Affiliate Support Funds Flow model


  • Supports the development and review of departmental and practice-wide budget initiatives


  • Prepare ad hoc requests as assigned


  • Oversee special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree is required

Minimum Required Experience: 5 years in a Healthcare Finance or Financial Environment

Preferred Education: Master's in Business Administration

Preferred Experience: Previous Experience in the Healthcare Industry

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
