Job Description & SummaryAs a Finance Transformation, Manager, you'll be part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, and deliver high quality client service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business-led, technology enabled projects to fulfill client needs for Finance Transformation consulting services
- Lead the preparation of workshops with key Finance leaders and stakeholders
- Play an active part in the delivery of Finance Transformation engagements, including
- Finance ERP implementations (e.g. SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle) delivering transformation initiatives and strategies
- Finance vision and Target Operating Model design (org structures, service delivery models, shared services designs and builds)
- Finance Processes assessment and improvement (reengineering)
- Finance vendor and technology software selection activities
- AI enabled acceleration of engagements and/or enablement of Finance capabilities
- Support the engagement director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
- Lead the preparation of deliverable content and ensure the quality of deliverables meets PwC and client expectations
- Lead proposal development, market initiatives, and practice development (thought leadership, knowledge management, training, etc
People & Practice Development - Lead and/or participate in business development and market activities
- Team with PwC colleagues across other lines of service in support of client needs
- Support the development of thought leadership and point of view materials on Finance Transformation (FT)
- Support junior team members through collaboration, coaching, and knowledge sharing
- Actively participate in learning, development, and capability building activities within the FT practice
- Support the team in improving and evolving ways of working, delivery approaches, and tools when required
- Assist in identifying market gaps and opportunities to develop new value propositions within Finance Transformation
- Look for opportunities to scale delivery efficiencies and enable new ways of working through process and technology innovation

- Experience in upskilling for a digital world (including AI) and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
- Professional Finance experience is an asset (e.g. Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics)
- Approximately 4-7 years of consulting or audit experience is an asset, especially within the "Big 4" firms
- MBA and/or a CPA designation is an asset
- Experience with ERP implementation initiatives and projects (e.g. SAP, Workday, Microsoft and Oracle) is an asset
- Expertise in finance strategy and operating model design, including defining target operating models, developing transformation roadmaps, and supporting business cases
- Demonstrated project management and team leadership skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Knowledge of and experience in AI for Finance is an asset
- Working expertise or understanding in many, if not all, core Accounting areas: Record-to-Report - financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, fixed Assets, project accounting, payroll, lease accounting , Order-to-Cash - customer credit, invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, , Procure-to-Pay - procurement, matching, invoicing, accounts payable ,Treasury - cash flow reporting
- Experience in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives and projects in the core back-office accounting areas (see above) in either a consultant or internal role

The salary range for this position is $112,400 - $162,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
