Full Job Description
You are:

You are a recognized Principal Director-level leader in finance transformation with deep management consulting experience and a proven track record of advising C-suite executives, shaping complex transformation programs, and driving measurable enterprise value. You operate at the intersection of business strategy, finance, and technology, helping clients modernize finance functions through leading operating models, data, AI, and digital technologies. You are energized by building trusted executive relationships, developing senior consulting talent, leading large-scale programs, and growing Accenture's Finance Transformation practice through exceptional delivery, thought leadership, and business development.

The work:
  • Lead finance transformation engagements by helping clients modernize their finance functions, define strategic objectives, prioritize initiatives, and develop actionable transformation roadmaps.
  • Drive the growth of our CFO & EV practice by building and expanding C-suite relationships, originating and shaping complex business development opportunities, mentoring senior talent, and strengthening Accenture's position as a leader in finance transformation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior executives, bringing deep finance transformation expertise to solve complex business challenges and shape long-term transformation strategies.
  • Help clients unlock greater business value by transforming finance data, analytics, planning, performance management, and reporting capabilities to enable better decision-making and support enterprise-wide digital transformation.
  • Design future-state finance capabilities that harness generative AI, agentic AI, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and transform end-to-end finance processes.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale client engagements, from market development, opportunity shaping, and proposal leadership through delivery, while managing project economics, engagement risk, executive stakeholder relationships, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing consulting teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Here's what you need:
  • Minimum 12 years of finance and/or management consulting experience, including significant experience leading finance transformation programs for large, complex organizations.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience working with finance functions, including analytics, planning, forecasting, core finance operations, operating models, organization structures, process redesign, and technology-enabled transformation.
  • Minimum 8 years working with Canadian organizations in Banking, Insurance, Consumer Goods & Retail, Natural Resources, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Health, or Public Sector.
  • Minimum 8 years leading large, multidisciplinary consulting engagements, managing executive stakeholders, and developing high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of emerging AI capabilities and their application across finance transformation, operating models, and enterprise technology.
  • A University Degree is required for this position
  • Must be willing to travel
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus points if:
  • You're a pro when it comes to engagement - plus business, practice, and people development.
  • You've designed finance, accounting, planning, forecasting, or reporting solutions
  • You've worked with modern Finance technologies across ERP, EPM, analytics, AI, and data platforms, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, SAC, Anaplan, OneStream, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar solutions.
  • You've got an MBA and/or CPA after your name or another type of advanced degree.
  • Bilingual (English/French)
