About this positionThe
Finance Transformation Analyst plays a key role in driving the modernization and continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, data, and reporting capabilities. This position partners with Finance, IT, Shared Services (Carrier Business Solutions), and business stakeholders to support transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, standardization, automation, data quality, and decision-making.
The analyst will support strategic finance programs such as ERP implementations, Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting, financial close optimization, automation initiatives, reporting enhancements, and process harmonization efforts. The role requires strong analytical, financial, and project management skills, along with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong finance knowledge with technology and process improvement expertise. They are comfortable working across business and technical teams, can analyze complex financial processes, and are passionate about helping organizations modernize their finance function through data, automation, standardization, and digital transformation.

remote work model
within the USA.
Key Responsibilities:1) Finance Transformation & Process Improvement- Support finance transformation initiatives designed to improve business processes, controls, and operating efficiencies.
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.
- Document business requirements, process flows, operating procedures, and functional specifications.
- Support implementation of best practices across Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Close, Group Reporting, Intercompany, and other finance processes.
2) Systems & Technology Enablement- Partner with Finance and IT teams on ERP and finance technology deployments.
- Support implementation and enhancement of solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting or similar platforms.
- Participate in system testing activities, including SIT, UAT, defect management, and deployment readiness assessments.
- Assist with data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities during system implementations.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance / business administration / economics / commerce / data analytics.
- 5+ years of experience in one of the following: Financial Systems (for example: ERP, Consolidations tools, Supplementary financial systems, etc.), FP&A, Accounting, or Business Analysis.
- 5+ years experience with executing finance processes, including financial close, consolidation, reporting, planning, or intercompany accounting.
- 2+ years experience performing reconciliation activities.
- 2+ years experience supporting business process improvement or system implementation projects.
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Excel (Vlookup, Macros, Pivot Tables, writing formulas, etc.) supporting data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Experience supporting business process improvement or system implementation projects such as SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Group Reporting, BW, SAC, or other finance technology platforms.
- Intermediate accounting knowledge and familiarity with GAAP reporting.
- Familiarity with AI tools and solutions to support analytical tasks.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, or similar reporting and automation tools.
- CPA, CMA, PMP, CBAP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
Additional information- Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without restriction; visa sponsorship is not available.
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
