The Finance & Strategy team partners closely with Finance leadership and teams across Product, Engineering, Recruiting, Procurement, and Accounting to guide key business decisions. The team focuses on financial planning, investment analysis, and portfolio performance tracking to support strategic initiatives, including venture fund activities. The work centers on developing clear financial insights that help leadership understand performance trends and evaluate opportunities. The team values thoughtful analysis, clear communication, and strong collaboration across functions!

As a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst, this role supports venture fund initiatives through financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and planning and reporting processes. The position works closely with senior leaders to deliver data-driven insights that inform capital allocation and strategic priorities. Responsibilities span both structured financial reporting and flexible analysis across business areas. The role also contributes to improving financial processes through standardization and automation, along with advancing AI-driven workflow improvements!

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you'll do
  • Build and refine fund models that incorporate management fees, committed capital, and investment performance across portfolios
  • Analyze return drivers and portfolio performance to support investment evaluation and capital allocation decisions
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting by tracking metrics such as assets under management, net asset value, and portfolio returns
  • Contribute to fiscal planning and budgeting processes by aligning cost center spend with broader financial goals
  • Conduct financial analyses across business areas and support activities such as mergers and acquisitions through modeling and performance tracking

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4-5+ years of experience in finance, investing, or investment banking, including experience supporting planning and forecasting
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and connect it to business outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a structured, timely manner
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting data and recommendations to partners at different levels

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Base Pay Range:

Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

$111,000-$130,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$97,000-$114,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$86,000-$101,000 USD
