Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• At least 5 years in senior accounting leadership roles like Controller or Director.
• Minimum of 3 years managing accounting teams.
• Proficient in GAAP, payroll, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with project-based accounting, particularly in fields like civil engineering or construction.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Deltek Ajera is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger and payroll.
• Prepare and manage financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on financial performance.
• Deliver executive dashboards and actionable insights based on KPIs.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Coordinate and lead external audits and CPA activities.
• Implement financial controls and process improvements across the department.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and investments.
• Utilize Deltek Ajera for project-based financial management.
