Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • Deep experience in the technology/cloud sector, with specific knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), or B2B SaaS economics.
  • Expertise in capacity finance, infrastructure costs, and resource allocation models.
  • Background in pricing strategy, commercial agreements structuring, and ROI modeling for AI/Emerging Tech.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical and financial data into compelling narratives for executive consumption.
  • Ability to drive results in a highly matrixed, changing, and ambiguous environment.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

We are Data Cloud product finance team supporting Google Cloud Platform's ecosystem of data management and analytics solutions. Our focus centers on driving the financial strategy for enterprise data technologies such as scaling multi-model capabilities and winning Database and Data Analytics workload empowering enterprise customers across verticals to achieve profound organizational transformation through innovation.

In this role, you will supports the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams that build and promote GCP's Data Cloud products. You will manage the product P&Ls, including business, infrastructure expenses, payroll and other OpEx. You will be an integral partner and financial advisers to the Cloud leadership team, advising on how to invest resources, accelerate commercial database migrations, and grow a strong and sustainable business.
