Position Description
The Finance Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Channel leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance and achieve key objectives. This role will own P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting while leading strategic initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency. The Finance Manager will also lead and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Channel to deliver on business objectives.
  • Provide Support for Month End Reporting, Forecasting, & Budget Process
  • Lead preparation ofprofitability analysis for a business unit
  • Prepare and present recurring financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that provide meaningful insights to senior leadership.
  • Development and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demands
  • Lead return on investment (ROI) analysis for promotional plans
  • Lead strategic financial projects
  • Own P&L performance by analyzing monthly variances, identifying key financial drivers, and presenting findings and recommendations to the Consumer Leadership Team on a monthly basis
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, fostering professional development, accountability, and high-quality deliverables.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA designation or equivalent
  • 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably within a large corporate environment, including commercial finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using Microsoft Access considered an asset.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.
