Job SummaryThe Finance Manager - Business Development serves as a strategic partner to the Business Development team, leading financial analysis, modeling, and reporting for RFPs and negotiations. This individual contributor role ensures alignment between financial planning, forecasts, and post-award performance, while providing insights to leadership to guide decision-making and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and improve financial benchmarks, insights, and analytics for Business Development
- Own pro forma, executive summaries, and financial deliverables for RFPs
- Advise leadership on deal structure, profitability, and financial risks
- Contribute to short-term and long-term financial strategies across Finance and Business Development
- Track and analyze pipeline metrics, retention, capex, and key financial indicators
- Prepare and present financial reporting to support decision-making
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables
- Partner with Finance and Accounting for post-RFP performance analysis and KPI development
- Promote best practices, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 5+ years of finance experience, such as Finance Manager or Senior Financial Analyst
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated leadership through influence
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
