What the day will look like- Lead the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial results, clearly articulating key performance drivers, trends, and implications for the business.
- Partner with business leaders as a strategic advisor, providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive improved financial performance.
- Own the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of client, program, and distribution profitability dashboards and related reporting.
- Consolidate and synthesize information from multiple financial systems and databases to deliver clear, management-ready analyses and recommendations.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes; oversee preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
- Support and coordinate aspects of the monthly close process in partnership with Controllership and Accounting Operations, ensuring results are understood and appropriately communicated.
- Provide robust financial analysis to support achievement of financial objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, including data collection, consolidation, challenge, and analysis across business units.
- Partner with business units to develop annual sales incentive targets; manage compilation of quarterly incentive payouts and coordinate approvals with producers and their managers.
- Lead deal modeling and "what-if" scenario analysis to evaluate financial impact, risks, and opportunities for new and existing initiatives.
- Provide financial governance over Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs), including development, review, and ongoing tracking of actual project costs and realized benefits versus approved CBAs.
- Translate complex and large-scale data sets into clear, concise presentations and materials for executive-level audiences.
- Serve as a key liaison between Controllership, Accounting Operations, and Business Operations, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective communication across stakeholders.
- Proactively manage shifting priorities, deliverables, and timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

- Tenure & Education: 6+ years of experience in FP&A with a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Pay Transparency LawsThe salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
