POSITION SUMMARYThis Marketing Finance Lead position is a strategic finance leader supporting the Global Marketing Organization, focused on providing thought leadership across planning and investment decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Data-Informed Decision Making & Strategic Business Partnership - Act as a strategic Finance partner to Marketing leadership, connecting business strategy, marketing priorities, and financial outcomes.
- Build partnerships across Marketing and Finance to drive alignment, accountability, and effective decision-making.
- Partner with leaders to evaluate investment priorities, resource allocation, and trade-offs, ensuring spending aligns with strategic objectives.
2. Marketing Effectiveness & Investment Optimization - Develop financial analyses and scenarios that translate business questions into clear implications, recommendations, and actions.
- Develop a Finance point of view on investment priorities, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities and influence decisions through clear recommendations.
- Partner with Marketing teams to evaluate marketing performance, improve returns, and recommend where investments can be optimized.
- Create executive business reviews and presentations that translate financial and marketing trends into clear business implications and recommended actions, including end-to-end story development and executive-ready visualization.
3. Budget Management & Financial Planning - Lead financial planning and budget management, including forecasting, close, variance analysis, risks and opportunities, and scenario planning.
- Synthesize financial and business trends into concise narratives that clearly communicate what happened, why it matters, and what should happen next.
- Use AI, process automation, and data capabilities to improve FP&A and analytical workflows, accelerate insights, and enable better decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, financial analytics, or related roles.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis, capable of converting data into strategic recommendations.
- Strong executive communication expertise, demonstrated by independently developing leadership presentations and turning complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives.
- Ability to build effective partnerships, influence senior leaders, and navigate complex cross-functional decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear messages for executive audiences.
- Creative and structured approach to problem-solving, capable of working effectively through ambiguity.
- Experience applying AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, or workflows, with the ability to identify and champion new ways AI can improve Finance processes and decision-making.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, or automation tools such as Power BI or Power Automate is a plus; familiarity with SQL is preferred.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $128,700 -- $243,850 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $168,400 - $243,850
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
