The position at a glanceThis role supports BNP Paribas's mission by driving the disciplined execution of the Brazil Strategic Plan and ensuring seamless integration across the Americas. The main objective is to oversee a diverse portfolio of high-impact finance and IT projects that expand client capabilities and ensure regulatory compliance. By bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical execution, the position serves as a strategic link between Finance and IT.
In detail- Orchestrates the finance project portfolio to align team activities with the Finance COO's strategic objectives.
- Establishes clear priorities for project allocation and delivery schedules to ensure efficient resource deployment.
- Manages daily operations and budget compliance to maintain fiscal responsibility across the Americas.
- Communicates progress to senior leadership through concise KPI dashboards to ensure transparency with the CFO and Finance COO.
- Configures management accounting reporting streams for all Americas entities to ensure alignment with Group standards.
- Parametrizes the calculation of cost of funding and cost of carry to maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinates Finance SMEs with IT Project Managers in São Paulo to ensure high-quality delivery of the Brazil Strategic Plan pipeline.
- Defines test booklets and contributes to UAT to monitor software integration and post-implementation stability.
- Designs program governance and monitors progress to resolve issues and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Delivers process descriptions and workflow designs to facilitate smooth implementation plans.
- Produces Steering Committee presentations and KPI reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Manages multiple concurrent priorities in a hybrid, international environment to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Work conditions: This position provides for standard working conditions in an office and a normal work schedule from Monday to Friday. This position requires little travel.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed- University degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
- The knowledge of English is required. *
- Certifications: PMP, SCRUM, LEAN 6 sigma
- Minimum experience in project management frameworks including Lean, Agile, and Waterfall.
- Collaborative leadership when managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Reasoning and synthesis skills when simplifying complex technical or accounting concepts for varied audiences.
- Responsible resource management through planning and adapting to change in a client-focused manner.
- Trustworthy stakeholder engagement to build networks and gain acceptance for strategic visions.
- Supportive coaching and transversal management to adapt management styles as needed.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills for producing professional dashboards and presentations.
