Job Title: Finance Enterprise Partner (Finance Business Partner) - Canada Pharma

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

As a Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) within our Canadian Pharma affiliate, you will serve as a key business partner to the commercial organization, leveraging deep business understanding and financial expertise to drive strategies that deliver on our 10-year ambitions. This role is about delivering value for Canadian patients, the health ecosystem, and for Roche, acting with urgency to get our innovative medicines to Canadian patients, when they need it.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Commercial Finance chapter lead (director), you will be focusing on the following areas:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as strategic thought partner to the Disease Area Squad Leads to land ambition, execution excellence, and optimal investment strategies. Shape strategy through robust, evidence-based recommendations on business planning, forecasting, and scenario-planning.

  • Resource Allocation: Drive portfolio prioritization and fluid resource allocation in line with enterprise goals. Create transparency and implement governance around investments across the organization and provide advice on the financial implications (ROI) of business activities.

  • Custodian of performance: Ensure accuracy of financial statements following accounting principles. Implement relevant controls for risk mitigation. Effective collaboration with the Chief Country Accountant and the extended shared services team to ensure smooth operation of financial processes.

  • Drive Informed Decisions: Leverage advanced analytics to merge financial, supply chain, and patient program data into strategic recommendations that accelerate business outcomes. Translate complex financial data into high-impact narratives that provide stakeholders with the clarity needed to act decisively against opportunities and risks identified.

  • Innovation & tech-savviness: Actively identify, design and implement opportunities in automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Catalyze digital transformations in areas of forecasting, scenario planning, strategic decision making, reporting, and financial processes.

  • Network Collaboration: Systematically remove silos and collaborate across functions and geographies. Actively participate in global finance workstreams and communities to shape best practices and implement learnings across markets.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree (or above) in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years (or above) of relevant professional experience in controlling, strategic finance, or business intelligence, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and an international environment.

  • Good foundational accounting knowledge.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 115,328.00 and 151,368.00 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
