Summary

As the Financial Data Reporting and Analytics Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's commitment to improving data ingestion and data reporting best-practices. Supporting the implementation of a simplified, streamlined data architecture, you will utilize advanced technology to drive organizational decision making that appropriately balances the customer, cost and control needs of the organization. Collaborating with key stakeholders across the org will be integral to the success of this role.
 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in data and reporting optimization and wants to join a team focused on building successful outcomes. As an analyst within data engineering & analytics you will assess business needs, identify future-forward data solutions, and enable confidence in data quality and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and maintain financial data architectures
  • Propose improvements to streamline data processing, storage, and retrieval
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Understand emerging capabilities and be forward thinking regarding their deployment and internal use
  • Ensure data availability, reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Ensure processes can meet risk management control guidelines
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions

Requirements and skills:

  • 3+ years experience in regulatory reporting, risk management and/or data analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and schema design
  • Strong Proficiency in Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Knowledge of Power BI development
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Understanding of data governance principles
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify themes, trends and patterns across organizational products/activities and succinctly communicate findings
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to learn, Methodical and diligent with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field


 

Annual Salary

$77,900.00 - $120,950.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
