Join a high-impact Corporate Finance team that sits at the center of GM's software-enabled future, shaping decisions that directly influence our product portfolio and long-term profitability. In this role, you'll combine strong analytical and technical skills with strategic thinking to model software engineering needs, guide resource allocation, and deliver clear, influential recommendations to senior leaders. Ideal candidates are energized by ambiguity, thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and are motivated by seeing their insights turn into real business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all core Corporate Finance functions, including financial modeling, analysis, advising, presentation, and decision support.
  • Develop and utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to evaluate software engineering resources required to execute the future product portfolio.
  • Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Software Program Management, Engineering, and Product teams to drive alignment, understanding, and prioritization of software resource needs.
  • Support portfolio balancing activities to ensure optimal allocation of software engineering resources across initiatives.
  • Present insights and well-structured recommendations, highlighting key issues for action and decision, to senior leaders in Software & Services.
  • Lead and execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed to support strategic and operational goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills/ Fundamental knowledge of corporate finance
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics
  • 5+ years of finance experience
  • High business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively, in ambiguous and continually changing environment
