Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Anaheim, CA. The Field Technician will Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products at customer and/or field locations. Works under limited supervision and may be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.

Essential Functions:
• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
• Troubleshoots and performs diagnostic test of equipment malfunctions.
• Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
• May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. Responsible for the installation, check out, operation, maintenance and repair and modification of customer equipment and/or software. Performs diagnostic tests to troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interprets customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
• 65% travel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• 2-6 years' of experience and fully proficient job knowledge/skills in the field.

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
• Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance which requires US citizenship.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $62K - $116K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $54K - $101K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
