- Familiar with network heat maps and software inclusive of Ekahau
- Related degree in computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent experience

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $84,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Lead Regional Field Technician (Site Foreman)Travel: 75% travel What will you be doing?Lead Regional Field Technician responsible for overseeing cable installation teams and leading small, medium, and large-scale physical network migrations within WWT's Field Services Practice. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for field technicians, coordinate end-to-end field operations across diverse customer locations, conduct detailed site surveys, and deliver on-site smart hands support while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and on-time project delivery.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the lead technical resource on installation projects, providing on-site leadership, guidance, and mentoring for junior staff.
- Interview, schedule, and coordinate field technicians for on-site work and deliverable (as-built) processing.
- Plan and coordinate high-risk activities, including live network integrations, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and clear escalation protocols.
- Act as the on-site lead and primary liaison for WWT, partner resources, and subcontractors.
- Review, analyze, and validate all supporting documentation required to stage devices in accordance with predefined specifications.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and weekly toolbox talks, ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety policies.
- Develop documentation and procedures to be used for site surveys and on-site installation activities.
- Perform site surveys and review findings with customers and field engineers to address remediation needs and ensure field technicians are prepared for successful on-site execution.
- Collaborate with the Project Management team to plan and execute on-site activities.
- Train field technicians on expectations, quality standards, and site work best practices.
- Perform Dead on Arrival (DOA) and Green Light testing.
- Conduct post-installation Quality Assurance to validate successful implementation.
- Integrate infrastructure components in alignment with provided slotting matrices and cabling diagrams.
- Provide console management access to enable remote engineering support.
- Perform cabling installation tasks, including pulling, securing, splicing cable, and running conduit.
- Handle physical device placement, including unboxing, racking, and mounting network equipment.
