Job Description

We are looking for a talented Field Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Power Generation for Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming area.

Job Summary:

Supervises employees who install, service, and repair equipment and machinery.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing Technician and Team Leader schedules, ensuring repair plans align closely with customer quotes and promised timelines.
  • Elevate performance and quality through consistent coaching, feedback, and structured performance reviews, leading to measurable gains in productivity and repair accuracy.
  • Enable faster problem resolution by serving as the first line of technical support and escalating complex issues promptly to minimize downtime and rework.
  • Strengthen safety and efficiency by managing service logistics (materials, equipment, and staffing) to deliver high-quality repairs while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Enhance customer trust by reviewing and validating quotes for accuracy, proactively communicating repair status updates, and managing changes to plans or schedules.
  • Accelerate continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, implementing updates, and tracking outcomes against evolving customer and organizational expectations.
  • Improve on-time delivery by closely monitoring open repairs, clearing blockers, and ensuring completion within quoted timeframes to meet service commitments.
  • Grow branch performance by tracking goals and customer satisfaction targets, resolving warranty concerns professionally, and deepening relationships with key customers.


Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Adaptability and organizational skills to manage on-site work, on-call rotations, and job site visits across Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.
  • Strong financialacumen to interpret key indicators and make informed decisions that balance cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Effective communication skills to deliver clear, tailored messages to technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset to build trust, manage expectations, and provide solutions that enhance the customer experience.
  • Leadership ability to direct work by setting priorities, delegating tasks, and removing obstacles for your team.
  • Accountability and follow-through to ensure commitments are met and performance standards are maintained.
  • Conflict management skills to resolve issues quickly and professionally with minimal disruption.
  • Technical proficiency in diagnostics, electronic service tools, service documentation, and warranty processes to support accurate troubleshooting and repair.
    Education, Licenses, Certifications:
    College, university, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience equivalent required.
    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
    Experience:
    Intermediate level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, required.


Qualifications

  • Job is on-site 5 days a week. On call rotation
  • At least 2 years of direct industry experience required.
  • Comfortable leading a team of technicians with servicing, installing, and commissioning Cummins Power Generation applications
  • Satisfactory organization skills
  • Satisfactory communication to high profile customers
  • Willing to visit job sites in the Northern Colorado / Southern Wyoming area
