What You Can Expect

The Field Operations Manager will work closely with management to implement a variety of initiatives including process optimization/compliance projects. This role must have experience in applying six sigma methodology in a transactional, operations, or warehousing environment. The Filed Operations Manager will also lead our corporate customer service team. This leader will work cross-functionally to drive results in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize and lead projects with minimal direct supervision.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Partner with Distributor leadership to achieve operational excellence.
  • Detect trends and the 'pulse' of distributor personnel and customers.
  • Collaborate with Distributor and corporate functional leaders to optimize processes while minimizing marketplace risk and facilitate sales growth.
  • Lead selected project and program teams as assigned.
  • Drive initiatives and other changes.
  • Provide/support software training, facilitation, and hands-on support to drive business transformation activities and ensure long term adoption.
  • Collect and analyze information to identify areas for improvement and improve the performance of the Distributor; Identify and share best practices among Distributors.
  • Develop, document and roll out SOPs for operational workflow efficiency.
  • Set and monitor KPIs related to areas of responsibility.
  • Manage, coach and develop customer service team members.
  • Support the resolution of AR-related invoice and payment discrepancies with customers.
  • Monitor activities for direct sales return, complaints, shipping discrepancies, and product repairs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer master data.

Your Background

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in driving continuous improvement activities preferred.
  • Experience working in or with logistics, supply chain function preferred.
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred.


Travel Expectations

Up to 25%

Expected Compensation Range

$105,000 - $115,000 CAD/annual.

Holiday and PTO provided. This is a new position.
