JOB SUMMARYResponsible for all aspects of manpower requirements, including personnel acquisition, assignments, and terminations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the HVAC/Plumbing/Pipefitting/Mechanical Installation field.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides high-level supervision for site labor personnel. Assigns, trains, and supervises General Foreman and/or Foreman for job sites.
- Acts as liaison to the labor union.
- Works with Project Managers, General Foreman and Foreman to ensure projects are staffed to meet the schedule and composite crew rates.
- Coordinates job progress with Project Managers.
- Participates in project kick-off meetings to understand how jobs were bid and communicates the information to site personnel and ensures the information is incorporated into installation planning.
- Mentors and trains new employees.
- Ensures company safety policies and procedures are followed. Investigates, reports, and corrects safety-related incidents in conjunction with the safety team.
- Works closely with varying members of Bombard Mechanical's accounting and project management departments to ensure project job costs and project tracking are on target.
- Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Perform additional assignments as assigned.
