JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for all aspects of manpower requirements, including personnel acquisition, assignments, and terminations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the HVAC/Plumbing/Pipefitting/Mechanical Installation field.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides high-level supervision for site labor personnel. Assigns, trains, and supervises General Foreman and/or Foreman for job sites.
  • Acts as liaison to the labor union.
  • Works with Project Managers, General Foreman and Foreman to ensure projects are staffed to meet the schedule and composite crew rates.
  • Coordinates job progress with Project Managers.
  • Participates in project kick-off meetings to understand how jobs were bid and communicates the information to site personnel and ensures the information is incorporated into installation planning.
  • Mentors and trains new employees.
  • Ensures company safety policies and procedures are followed. Investigates, reports, and corrects safety-related incidents in conjunction with the safety team.
  • Works closely with varying members of Bombard Mechanical's accounting and project management departments to ensure project job costs and project tracking are on target.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Perform additional assignments as assigned.

  • Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
