Full Job Description
As a Field Marketing Manager you will support our Third Party & Partner Events strategy, owning the end-to-end execution, experience, and sales enablement of our third party conferences, partner co-marketing events, and sponsorships. You will own the outcomes of execution: ensuring every event we show up to, whether we're hosting a booth, sponsoring a session, or co-hosting with a partner, is delivered through clear communication and with quality, completeness, and results that align with our larger business goals and expectations. Your focus will be on the how, from documentation, contracting and shipping to on-site staffing and travel, including your own. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. This role requires up to 50% travel, including potential international travel. What you'll do at Figma: - Ownend-to-end execution of third-party and partner events, sponsorships, conferences, trade shows, and co-marketed activations, from contracting and vendor management through registration, badge logistics, booth/exhibit fulfillment, shipping, inventory, and on-site staffing plans - Independently manage the event portfolio: scope the work, sequence tasks, estimate timelines, and adapt plans as requirements shift, incorporating AI tools to move faster without sacrificing quality - Coordinate all travel logistics for the events team and Figma attendees (executives, sales, speakers), including flights, lodging, ground transport, and visas for international events - Serve as Figma's primary on-site point of contact, troubleshooting in real time and proactively managing risks or blockers to deliver a polished, on-brand experience - Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party event organizers, partners, and vendors to maximize value and minimize risk - Measure the impact of your work: budget reconciliation, post-event ROI reporting, and proactive recommendations based on outcomes - Partner with Sales, Field Marketing, and Partner Marketing to identify the right events to attend or sponsor, and ensure sales enablement (calendaring, briefing docs, lead capture) is in place ahead of each one - Turn patterns and best practices, including AI tools, into repeatable logistics playbooks and checklists so the third-party/partner motion scales, sharing your reasoning clearly with teammates along the way We'd love to hear from you if you have: - 4+ years of experience in event logistics, event operations, or field marketing, with direct ownership of on-site execution and all logistical aspects of events big and small - vendor and venue coordination, shipping/inventory, registration, on-site staffing, and travel - Strong vendor and partner relationship management skills, including contract negotiation - A track record of owning outcomes independently, planning and sequencing complex, multi-part projects with minimal oversight - A calm, solutions-oriented approach to the curveballs of live events, adapting on the fly and managing risk while keeping things moving, backed by excellent written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors - Comfort with up to 50% travel, including some international and weekend travel While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have: - Experience with event management, registration, and exhibitor platforms (e.g., Cvent, RainFocus) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Sooominfo) - Familiarity with international event logistics, including customs/carnet processes for shipped materials - Experience managing sponsorship deliverables and fulfillment for third party conferences - A relevant certification (e.g., CMP) or formal event management training #LI-JB6 Pay Transparency Disclosure Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. All compensation and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may be modified by Figma at any time, consistent with applicable law. Annual Base Salary Range: $105,000-$245,000 USD
