Position Summary
The Field Account Manager, Fleet Operations drives day-to-day business results, strengthens local relationships, and improves customer satisfaction for national, regional, and dealer/commercial accounts for assigned territory for our Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO). They execute strategic plans to drive incremental revenue and gross profit by leveraging support from local BSRO field teammates.

This role is a remote based role with a strong preference to be based out of Denver, CO due to location of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Own profitable fleet business at territory level.
  • Drive day-to-day business development to meet/exceed sales goals for national, regional, and local Small/Medium sized Businesses (SMB) accounts in assigned territory.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with national account key decision makers at the local level to understanding their business needs and goals to drive greater penetration within the existing customer base.
  • Guide the implementation of national account specific business plans and serve as the primary national account contact at the field level to foster growth and profitability.
  • Lead the training of store teammates to drive SMB account strategy.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the operations, field, and marketing teams to deliver on our service promises.
  • Evaluate issues preventing fleet sales; address customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensure timely response to inquiries.
  • Manage and resolve escalated fleet customer defined issues (including billing and customer satisfaction).
  • Serve as a leader and subject matter resource on BSRO to fleet accounts.
  • Lead in person planning meetings with national accounts at local locations to capture business opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs and provide product and service recommendations to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivate local store connections with store managers and teammates.
  • Ensure BSRO store teams are aware of all tools available to them for managing fleets.
  • Responsible for delivering business results and action items during weekly Region meetings.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with field leaders to understand their needs while highlighting the B2B business trends within their Region.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly managing fleet accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients across the assigned territory
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field
  • Live in or around the Denver, CO area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of fleet experience
  • Retail fleet management
