Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a motivated and mission driven Federal Law Enforcement Mission Support consultant with approximately 2 to 8+ years of relevant professional experience to be a part of our growing team supporting current and future Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiatives. You will use and grow your research, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to support business transformation, process improvement, data analysis and application, training, communications, organizational change management, and technology modernization initiatives across a diverse portfolio of federal law enforcement programs.

As a trusted partner to the federal clients, you will work closely with government stakeholders, business partners, and technical teams to further mission needs, analyze business processes, gather requirements, develop recommendations, and support the successful adoption of technology and operational improvements. Depending on program needs, you may contribute to business analysis, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, data visualization, training, communications, or project implementation efforts. Successful team members are intellectually curious, proactive, detail oriented, and comfortable learning new mission areas, systems, and technologies while building trusted client relationships and delivering high-quality results.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work directly with government stakeholders, technical teams, and other contractor partners to understand mission needs and advance the successful delivery and adoption of technology and business solutions..


  • Quickly learn client missions, organizational structures, business processes, and IT systems to become a knowledgeable and trusted member of the team.


  • Research, analyze, and document business and user needs, translating them into clear requirements, recommendations, processes, or other actionable work products.


  • Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and operations to identify challenges, opportunities for improvement, and practical solutions.


  • Lead the implementation and adoption of new or enhanced systems, processes, and capabilities through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change management, and user support activities.


  • Analyze program, operational, or user data and develop reports, dashboards, visualizations, presentations, or other products that help stakeholders understand information and make informed decisions.


  • Develop clear, professional client deliverables, including briefings, process documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, presentations, reports, and other mission support materials with quick turnarounds.


  • Take ownership of initiatives, proactively identify questions or risks, seek out information, and follow through on commitments with limited day to day direction.


What We Need From You (Required)

  • 2 to 8+ years of relevant professional experience supporting consulting, business transformation, information technology, program operations, data analysis, training, communications, organizational change, or related mission support activities.


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, information systems, communications, education, data analytics, or a related field.


  • Experience supporting DHS, federal law enforcement, DOD, or another related federal government environment, with the ability to understand how technology, business processes, and people come together to support the mission.


  • Demonstrated ability to learn unfamiliar organizations, business processes, systems, and subject matter quickly and apply that knowledge effectively in day to day client work.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop professional work products and communicate effectively with government clients, technical teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.


  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality in a fast-moving environment.


  • A genuine interest in continuous learning and professional growth, including building knowledge of the vast ICE missions, organization, systems, programs, and evolving technology environment.


Bonus Points (Desired)

  • Current or recent DHS suitability or security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain the level of suitability or clearance required for the position. Current or prior ICE suitability and experience are strongly valued.


  • Familiarity with ICE mission systems, enterprise applications, and operational technology environments


  • Experience with DHS commonly used tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, PowerApps, or similar platforms.


Work Location

This role includes both remote and onsite work. Candidates should be prepared to work onsite at client and/or MetaPhase locations as needed, with specific expectations determined by the client.

U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
