Title:
Facility Security Support

KBR is seeking a Security Administrator to join our team in El Segundo.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force's Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assists the Facility Security Manager with daily operations of the MSEIT Open Storage Area.
  • Manage OSA physical security processes and procedures
  • Conduct lab briefings and training
  • Manage lab access
  • Responsible for DCSA required logs, check lists and other documentation
  • Maintain visitor control in the lab to include providing visitor badges, escorting uncleared visitors, and verifying visitor clearance information using customer approved databases
  • Coordination of EOD with the lab manager
  • Verify VARS in Visitor Control
  • Badge Tracking
  • SEAD 3 Reporting
  • Unclassified Rosters/Classified Roster backup
  • Professionally interact with the (senior) leadership team, government customers, vendors, and personnel
  • Create documents with Microsoft Office Suite including formatting, finding, or creating graphics, editing, proof reading and distribution
  • Assist in scheduling conference rooms, set-up and clean-up internal and customer meetings and assembling meeting material packages - (Admin support backup)

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required for this position
  • 2+ years of experience working in/with restricted areas
  • Excellent communications skills, friendly attitude, and ability to work well with colleagues, contract staff, and customers
  • Be self-motivated, work independently, collaborate as part of a team to achieve office goals, and multi-task independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy


Desired:
  • Degree preferred
  • Ability to accept direct supervision for work prioritization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, work well with tight deadlines and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with DoD, Intelligence, and Space Force or Air Force customers


Basic Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 in El Segundo, California

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
