Facility Manager

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will serve as a front-line leader focused on safety, compliance, reliability, and profitability
  • Hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of industrial gases operations and safety practices
  • Requires off-hours availability (laptop/cell) and up to 10% travel
  • Further, you will ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and reliable plant operations
  • Optimize processes to improve capacity, efficiency, and cost performance and to manage financial performance, including cost targets and productivity improvements (Six Sigma)
  • And you will lead, coach, and develop a small team of technicians and drivers
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, FDA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
  • You will build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance strategies
  • Manage capital and expense projects; coordinate with engineering resources
  • And you will oversee quality assurance programs and support audits
  • Maintain accurate records of process and equipment changes (MOC, Variance, MVF, QA)
  • Respond quickly to plant issues to minimize operational and customer impact
  • Also, you will support other Bulk CO2 facilities with operations, training, and maintenance as needed


What makes you great

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or five (5+) years of technical operations and management experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of operations and leadership experience in industrial or chemical plant environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and adapt in fast-paced environments
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Results-driven self-starter with a track record of executing projects and tactical initiatives
