The Manager of Facilities Management Education & Training leads educational strategy and operational excellence across Facilities Management while ensuring training programs align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
The Manager of Facilities Management Education & Training provides strategic leadership for learning and development programs, curriculum governance, instructional design, workforce development, and training effectiveness. The Manager of Facilities Management Education & Training oversees educational professionals, manages learning technologies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Manager of Facilities Management Education & Training serves as a key consultant to stakeholders, ensuring employees have access to high-quality learning experiences that support operational performance and organizational success.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, along with extensive experience leading learning and development programs, workforce development initiatives, and instructional design projects. The successful candidate will bring expertise in adult learning theory, curriculum development, eLearning solutions, LMS administration, stakeholder consultation, change management, and project leadership, as well as demonstrated success developing education professionals and implementing organization-wide training strategies focused on onboarding, compliance, technical skills, and leadership development.
Salary Range: $79,000 - $99,000 - $119,000
Responsibilities
Educational Strategy & Program Oversight • Lead development and execution of Facilities Management training strategy.
• Develop and implement long-term training strategies and workforce development initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
• Establish standards, frameworks, and governance for training programs across Facilities Management.
• Ensure high-quality curriculum design and delivery using adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
• Oversee development of instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning training initiatives.
• Leverage instructional technologies and multimedia tools from intake through implementation.
• Serve as a consultant to stakeholders to identify performance gaps and recommend training solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Align learning deliverables with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Leadership & Team Development • Supervise Senior Educational Specialists, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Educational Specialists.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Facilities Management educational programs.
• Ensure effective educational program delivery and theory-based assessment practices.
Curriculum Development & Training Delivery • Oversee curriculum design, development, implementation, and delivery for onboarding, compliance, technical skills, and workforce development programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify training needs and learning priorities.
• Ensure educational content supports operational effectiveness and workforce readiness.
• Maintain quality and consistency across instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning modalities.
Learning Technologies & Analytics • Oversee administration and optimization of Learning Management System platforms, including Taleo Learn Education Center.
• Ensure accurate course deployment, learner tracking, reporting, and system utilization.
• Manage learning technologies and training resources to support organizational objectives.
• Monitor training analytics and program performance metrics.
• Develop reporting and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation • Establish key performance indicators and continuous improvement processes for training programs.
• Evaluate emerging trends and best practices in education, learning, and instructional design.
• Measure program effectiveness through training metrics, learner outcomes, and performance data.
• Use analytics to drive program enhancements and organizational decision-making.
• Recommend and implement innovative learning solutions that improve training outcomes.
EDUCATION
• Required: A bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Behavioral Science, Business, or related field
• Preferred: A master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Behavioral Science, Business, or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
• Required: Seven years experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational program management to include two years of supervisory or management experience.
May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources
