About the Role:

Join CBRE as a Facilities Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of a client site within the technology sector. This onsite role supports approximately 164,000 square feet of office space in a single low-rise building.

In this position, you will oversee daily facility operations, leading a Workplace Services team. Success in this role requires strong collaboration. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure work orders and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and on time.

As a valued member of the Facilities Management team, you will help partner with the Maintenance and Engineering team to enhance the performance, reliability, and overall condition of the building.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated communications between landlords, tenants, and service providers, ensuring policies, procedures, and reporting standards are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • Supervise and coordinate team's daily activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and cross-training to ensure coverage and efficiency; conduct performance reviews to support team development and accountability
  • Organize and oversee routine maintenance of building equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Partner with the Facilities Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute short and long term projects ensuring timely completion and alignment with site objectives.
  • Analyze work order data and generate performance reports for management, offering recommendations to enhance process efficiency.
  • Conduct vendor evaluations through market research and cost-benefit analysis to support procurement decisions.
  • Monitor and track both regular and ad-hoc facility expenses to support budget adherence and financial planning; assist with budget preparation and process purchase orders.
  • Resolve complex operational issues and identify innovative solutions to meet team objectives.
  • Introduce and implement new techniques or processes to improve team performance and service delivery.
  • Influence both team and cross-functional objectives through effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Ensure all team activities align with and positively impact customer satisfaction and service standards.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED, along with 5+ years of relevant facilities experience. Previous experience as a shift manager or in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with budgeting principles and financial processes preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in using CMMS to track and manage work orders.
  • Strong understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within your area of expertise, with foundational knowledge of related functions.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and sensitive information clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other related tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a highly inquisitive, analytical mindset.

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Supervisor position is $38.00 hourly and the maximum salary for the Facilities Supervisor is $40.87 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
