Job Description:

Job Overview

Are you a construction professional who enjoys seeing complex projects come to life? TE Connectivity is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead facility construction and expansion projects that directly support our business growth across North America.

This is a 100% onsite position based in the Winston-Salem/Greensboro, NC area and reports to the Senior Manager of Global Construction Management. The role supports a variety of projects including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, laboratories, cleanrooms, and office spaces. Travel is required, primarily within the United States, with opportunities to support international projects as business needs arise.

As TE's owner representative, you will manage projects from early planning and design through construction, commissioning, and closeout. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Real Estate, Procurement, Legal, EHS, Risk Management, and Sustainability teams, while also coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful project execution.

We're seeking a highly organized, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously. The ideal candidate is an exceptional multitasker who can balance competing priorities, coordinate diverse stakeholder groups, proactively resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward while maintaining attention to detail, budget, schedule, and safety requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys solving problems, building strong partnerships, and making a direct impact on the growth and modernization of TE's facilities across North America and beyond.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Lead construction projects from concept through completion, serving as the primary point of contact for all project activities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from renovations and expansions to relocations and new facility construction.
  • Coordinate design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.
  • Facilitate meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to align project goals and drive progress.
  • Review scopes of work, drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Monitor project execution through regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements are being met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, purchase orders, reports, photographs, and project correspondence.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project closeout documentation.
  • Partner with Procurement to evaluate and select contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and changes to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Review architectural and engineering designs for constructability, code compliance, cost effectiveness, and long-term facility performance.
  • Support value engineering efforts and identify opportunities to improve project execution and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, TE safety standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct project safety reviews and support contractor safety performance.
  • Collaborate with the Global Construction Management team to share best practices, improve standards, and support strategic initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Strong partnerships with internal customers and external vendors.
  • Effective management of project risks and schedule milestones.
  • High-quality facilities that support manufacturing and business growth.
  • Sustainable project solutions aligned with TE's environmental goals.
  • Consistent communication, accountability, and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project vendors.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
