Job Title: Manager I Technical Sales, Training Operations - Americas (Hybrid) Posting Start Date: 9/9/26 Job Description: Job Overview TE Connectivity's Energy BU is seeking a Manager I Technical Sales, Training Operations - Americas to shape and scale a regional training organization that strengthens customer capability, improves installation quality and safety, and supports commercial growth. This highly visible role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across product, installation, and certification training. You will have the autonomy to modernize the training portfolio, expand fee-based services, and turn field and customer insights into measurable business outcomes. Partnering across Product Management, Professional Services, Engineering, Sales, Quality, and other functions, you will influence how TE develops technical capability across employees, customers, installers, and business partners throughout the Americas. Reporting & Location: This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Professional Services and is based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, supporting the Fuquay-Varina facility. This is a HYBRID role, with three days per week expected in the office.This role includes approximately 10%-25% travel, including international travel. Bilingual English plus: Spanish, Portuguese, or Brazilian. Key Responsibilities: 3 Set the strategy: Own the Americas training service portfolio, operating model, annual roadmap, governance, delivery standards, facilities, certification framework, and supporting materials. 3 Build market-relevant learning: Develop and maintain curricula across TE Energy product lines, covering product capabilities, applications, installation methods, quality expectations, safety, and industry trends. 3 Modernize delivery: Create engaging classroom, digital, blended, and hands-on experiences for employees, customers, installers, and business partners. 3 Grow the business: Expand fee-based training, certification, supervision services, and training materials using approved pricing structures and sound commercial practices. 3 Improve customer outcomes: Increase customer and installer competence, certification quality, and satisfaction through consistent, high-value learning experiences. 3 Reduce risk: Translate field performance, TQM findings, quality data, and customer input into preventive training, updated standards, and tooling recommendations that reduce installation failures and safety exposure. 3 Turn insight into action: Capture Voice of Customer feedback, lead customer-requested business reviews, and coordinate cross-functional follow-through. 3 Lead regional operations: Maintain process discipline and compliance with global requirements while coordinating instructors, facilities, resources, product samples, tours, and training logistics. 3 Enable technical validation: Coordinate resources and sample materials for type testing and other customer application requirements. 3 Influence across the enterprise: Build strong partnerships with Product Management, Professional Services, Engineering, Sales, Quality, and regional and global stakeholders. What Success Looks Like During the first year, the successful candidate will establish a clear training roadmap and performance measures; provide curriculum consistency and certification governance; expand training capacity and customer reach; strengthen satisfaction and competency outcomes; advance revenue-generating services; and demonstrate measurable reduction of recurring installation and quality issues through targeted learning interventions. What your Background Looks Like 3 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate training, technical services, field services, product management, customer enablement, or a related function. 3 Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience leading large-scale technical training environments. 3 Experience designing and delivering technical, product, installation, certification, or customer-facing learning programs. 3 Demonstrated ability to set direction, lead through influence, and deliver results in a matrixed, cross-functional organization. 3 Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and organizational skills. 3 Confidence using Microsoft Office and data to plan, communicate, and measure performance. Additional Experience That Will Help You Succeed 3 Experience with SAP, learning management systems, digital learning platforms, or related business tools. 3 Experience managing budgets, pricing, or P&L performance. 3 Bilingual English/Spanish capability. 3 Knowledge of TE Energy products, power distribution applications, or comparable technical product environments.
