Facilities Project Coordinator • Facilities Support Services

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Facilities Project Coordinator to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. This position is responsible for supporting work control, CMMS administration, work order management, reporting, documentation, and general administrative functions for a Government facilities maintenance contract. The selected candidate will help ensure service requests, preventive maintenance tasks, corrective maintenance work orders, and project documentation are accurately tracked, updated, and maintained in accordance with contract requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and update work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Receive, enter, assign, track, and close out service requests, preventive maintenance work orders, and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Monitor work order status and coordinate with maintenance staff, supervisors, and management to support timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, labor, materials, equipment, and related documentation.
  • Generate reports, logs, schedules, and other documentation as required by management or the Government customer.
  • Support preventive maintenance scheduling and ensure recurring work orders are properly generated and tracked.
  • Assist with tracking open work orders, overdue work, pending parts, subcontractor support, and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate professionally with internal staff, subcontractors, vendors, and Government representatives.
  • Support meeting preparation, note-taking, action item tracking, and administrative coordination.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy project files in an organized and accurate manner.
  • Assist with timekeeping, purchasing documentation, material tracking, and general office support as needed.
  • Comply with all environmental, safety, security, and contract requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support, work control, project coordination, facilities maintenance support, or a related role.
  • Experience using a CMMS, work order system, database, or similar tracking system.
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, institutional, or Government facilities preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of work order management, administrative tracking, and facilities maintenance support functions.
  • Ability to accurately enter, update, and maintain data in a CMMS or similar system.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to generate reports, maintain logs, and track action items.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally with maintenance personnel, management, subcontractors, vendors, and Government representatives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary facilities support team.

Security Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, video conference, and in-person meetings.
  • Ability to occasionally walk through facility areas to support work order coordination and documentation.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials, files, or equipment consistent with administrative duties.

Wage Rate
  • Between $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
  • An additional $5.09 per hour up to 40 hrs per week for H&W per WD 2015-4265
