Job Description:Manages and supervises maintenance and the use of physical facilities and operating systems of the campus. Plans and directs skilled and/or unskilled personnel and outside contractors engaged in maintenance and repair of facilities systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, elevators, etc.), grounds maintenance, and custodial
services. Manage and direct maintenance activities and custodial services to include setting priorities for and assigning work requests. Monitor contractors and vendors for grounds, custodial and environmental services, to include inspection, and communicating the direction of corrective measures. Resolve problems and coordinate facilities for maintenance and campus renovations. Develop time and material estimates for maintenance and repair projects. Maintain records and reports.

Job Duties: - Manages and directs maintenance activities and facilities usage processes. (10%)
- Supervises campus service supervisor, maintenance staff and staff assistants. (5%)
- Develops time and material estimates for maintenance and repair projects. (5%)
- Prepares and manages the department budget of approximately one million dollars. (5%)
- Plans and coordinates all campus moves and relocations of departments and purchases all facilities equipment. (10%)
- Serves as campus liaison with City of Tampa and other governmental and private agencies on facilities related matters. (10%)
- Maintains communication with appropriate college administrators and staff on facilities on all related matters. (15%)
- Serves as chairperson of the campus facilities committee. (5%)
- Plans and coordinates facilities remodeling, renovation and new construction projects. (15%)
- Represents the Campus in the absence of the Campus President at community development meetings, and the Barrio where facilities are an agenda item. (15%)
- On call for facilities emergencies. (5%)
- Performs other and similar related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- Associate's Degree or two-year College equivalent (at least 60 undergraduate hours)
- Five years of prior-related work experience.
- The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
