Job DescriptionYou will be the Facilities Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Facilities Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for design, maintenance, and optimization of Lockheed Martin facilities.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Facilities Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of facility projects that support mission-critical operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, design, and oversee reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures.
- Gather and review data on specifications, restrictions, timelines, and construction feasibility.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria and produce detailed drawings.
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
- Inspect or direct inspection of construction and installation to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of three years professional experience
• Ability to read and execute engineering drawings and specifications with a strong understanding of CAD systems
• Industrial or manufacturing facilities design experience
Desired skills• Experience in managing contract performance of designers and contractors/subcontractors
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams & approach problems from multiple perspectives, collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Knowledge of design codes and standards
• Licensed Professional Engineer
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
