Schedule: 9/80Job Responsibilities- Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility systems at the Dallas site
- Learn and apply knowledge related to industrial controls systems, including:
- PLCs
- HMIs
- SCADA
- Working with contractors on control wiring installations and modifications
- Ensuring work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist with commissioning of facility and process-related equipment and systems
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of facility infrastructure and controls systems
- Provide support for Industrial Wastewater (IWW) systems, including systems involving toxic chemicals
- Respond to IWW alarms in a timely and effective manner
- Perform routine filter changes and maintenance activities on IWW systems
- Support safe operation and compliance of IWW and related environmental systems
- Create, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation, records, drawings, and procedures
- Use AutoCAD to develop and revise facility drawings and system documentation
- Work independently to manage assigned tasks and priorities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, leadership, vendors, contractors, and internal customers
- Support preventative maintenance and reliability efforts across facility systems
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment and system issues
- The ability to work with other business units
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required (preferrably in engineering (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.) controls engineer related technical field)
- Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge
- Skills in troublshooting, multitasking, documentation/written communication
- Ability to work independently under supervision of others
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
