Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication is currently seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager who will lead the Rate Planning, Capital, and Directives/Memos team. This position supports BCA Fabrication and is in Auburn, WA on First Shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end BCA Fabrication rate planning process, including preparation, consolidation, and approval of rate submissions across all business units.
Convene and drive readiness reviews; identify, assess, and quantify risks, opportunities, and issues that could impact rates or schedule, and ensure mitigation actions are tracked to closure.
Partner closely with each BCA Fabrication business unit to align rate assumptions, inputs, and timelines; ensure consistent methodology and documentation across the organization.
Own the BCA Fabrication capital portfolio: set governance, prioritize investments, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and leadership direction.
Provide strategic guidance and direction to business units on capital strategy, execution plans, and required actions to meet leadership expectations.
Maintain a consolidated view of total portfolio requirements and status, including cash flow, phasing, scope, and resource needs.
Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for capital planning and execution (e.g., forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, spend-to-plan, etc).
Drive timely, insightful reporting to leadership on capital portfolio health, material variances, and corrective actions.
Lead development, review, and issuance of any directives or memos authored by BCA Fabrication; ensure messaging is clear, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.
Receive and triage memos/directives from outside BCA Fabrication; establish timeline, owners, and guidance for required responses or actions.
Establish and enforce timelines, accountability, and escalation paths for responses to directives/memos and for capital/rate deliverables.
Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to build capability in rate planning, capital management, and directive execution.
Promote continuous improvement of processes, tools, and templates for rate planning, readiness reviews, and capital portfolio management.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Programs, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure integrated decision-making and efficient execution.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Auburn, WA location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
7+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholders interrelationship management
7+ experience with Program Management Best Practices (ex: risk, financial and schedule management)
Experience leading transformation initiatives / programs
3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor degree or higher in Business field is preferable
Experience with Project Management
Experience executing strategies that support business needs and drive employee engagement
Knowledge of business plan and policy development

$156,400 – $172,960
