Job Description This role focuses on requirements engineering, solutions development, test and evaluation, and systems analysis for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. The engineer will serve as a technical authority for radar standards, data quality, and system specification integrity.
Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary systems engineering efforts across the GEOINT lifecycle.
- Serve as the technical POC for NSGPDD and Radar Standards.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, provide technical recommendations, and draft updates to documentation.
- Oversee Request for Change (RFC) planning and effectivity management.
- Develop and present engineering plans, risk strategies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise in data integrity, interface standards, and radar systems.
- Lead and coordinate teams of senior-, mid-, and junior-level systems engineers.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field (advanced degree preferred).
- 18+ years of experience in systems engineering or related technical fields.
- Strong background in radar systems and standards development.
- Experience with NSG/ASG, NRO, NGA, and IC/DoD program/project work.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and resolve data discrepancy reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
