Customer Quality Engineer II
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Quality Assurance Processes: Establishes and maintains quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Analyze Quality Issues: Identifies, investigates, and resolves customer quality problems by applying technical expertise and systematic problem solving techniques.
Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams: Works closely with engineering, production, and customer service departments to address and mitigate quality related challenges.
Maintain Quality Documentation: Creates and updates comprehensive quality reports and documentation to track performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide Team Guidance: Offers informal mentorship and support to new team members, enhancing their understanding of quality engineering practices and fostering team development.
Key Skills:
Quality Assurance: Expertise in ensuring products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Root Cause Analysis: Skilled in identifying and addressing the underlying causes of quality issues.
Process Improvement: Proficient in evaluating and enhancing manufacturing or service processes to boost quality and efficiency.
Data Analysis: Adept at interpreting quality data and metrics to inform decision making.
Technical Documentation: Competent in creating and maintaining detailed quality reports and documentation.
Customer Relationship Management: Ability to manage and communicate effectively with customers regarding quality concerns.
Problem Solving: Strong capability to resolve quality related issues using technical expertise and judgment.
Communication: Skilled in explaining complex quality information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): Knowledgeable in applying statistical methods to monitor and control processes.
Cross functional Collaboration: Effective in working with different departments to achieve quality objectives.
