The Expert Salesforce Administrator is a member of MissionSquare's Technology team responsible for supporting and advancing the organization's next generation Salesforce platforms. This role serves as the lead administrator for both the Salesforce Sales Cloud and Financial Services Cloud environments, ensuring platform stability, security, scalability, and compliance. The position partners closely with business stakeholders, Product Management, Architecture, Development, Enterprise Security, and Compliance teams to deliver a secure, high-performing Salesforce ecosystem.

Essential Functions for this role include:
  • Administer and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud and Financial Services Cloud environments.
  • Maintain and optimize profiles, permission sets, territory management, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Configure Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations through Azure Active Directory.
  • Implement and monitor Salesforce Shield encryption, audit logging, and security controls to protect organizational data.
  • Configure and oversee Salesforce backup and recovery processes using Salesforce Backup (Own Backup) or similar tools.
  • Create and maintain sandboxes and scratch orgs while ensuring appropriate data masking and obfuscation practices.
  • Partner with Enterprise Security and Infrastructure Engineering teams to establish and maintain Salesforce security baselines.
  • Support compliance with SOC 1, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements through collaboration with Compliance and Internal Audit teams.
  • Monitor Salesforce releases and critical updates, perform regression testing, and coordinate release readiness activities.
  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations with Salesforce Support as needed.
  • Maintain platform documentation, procedures, and administrative standards.
  • Participate as an active member of the Salesforce Scrum Team, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
  • Communicate project status, technical issues, and impediments to stakeholders and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Five or more years of Salesforce administration experience, including leadership responsibility for a complex multi-org Salesforce environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (required).
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (required).
  • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant certification (preferred).
  • Experience serving as the lead administrator for Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, sharing models, and field-level security.
  • Knowledge of multi-org Salesforce strategies, platform events, and governor limits.
  • Experience supporting integrations using Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce-to-Salesforce, APIs, and related integration technologies.
  • Experience implementing and supporting managed packages.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools, Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications platform integrations such as TalkDesk.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce AI solutions, including Agentforce and large language model technologies.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
