Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural stress analysis within commercial aircraft development programs.
• In-depth knowledge of composite and metallic structures, fatigue and damage tolerance methodologies, and material behavior.
• Proficient in industry-standard tools: NASTRAN, Patran, FEMAP, HyperMesh, Abaqus, or equivalent.
• Strong background in FAR/CS-25 structural requirements and compliance documentation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing certification-level reports (stress, fatigue, DTA, compliance matrices).
• Proficient in interpreting loads models, structural drawings, and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with certification authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural stress analysis of aircraft structures including fuselage and wings.
• Perform static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses using classical methods and finite element models.
• Support development and validation of structural designs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Validate structural designs using classical calculations and industry-standard tools.
• Conduct trade studies and optimization for weight and performance.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the aircraft development lifecycle.
• Develop and review structural substantiation reports for FAA/EASA certification.
